Patch 0.9 Notes
This update is the first step in intregrating all the new information from The World of Ice Fire. Many database additions/updates have been added, plus lots of tweaks, balances and events. Also many changes have been adapted from the latest vanilla patch.
Highlights include:
– Vassal limit added, which varies with Crown Authority
– Characters can go into hiding, also adapted existing siege hiding events for the new trait
– Can form custom kingdoms (empires not available yet)
– Wildling reflavour
– Many World of Ice and Fire updates
Important Note:
– If you are wondering about the question mark flags everywhere, there are currently no flags for many areas.
– Charlemagne DLC Note: Adds the chronicle, custom kingdoms (existing titular kingdoms are still available without DLC) and a ‘hero knight’ flavour event

I can’t play… when i start the game, it loads and then crash. Some help?
The ‘Poor commander’ trait and the others of this type keep cloning to a point where the game lags, and becomes impossible to play. Have I installed it wrongly?

I’ve got the same issue, no idea why.
Woah, not sure if it’s a glitch with the patch or my computer but I can’t get through a year without it saying there is an error. All of a sudden the pictures go away, all the windows are replaced with code and random black boxes show up over the mouse. Then it freezes after a few months of that and closes.
FYI, although CK2 loads by itself, this mod will no longer load.
So here’s a thing that’s a bit irritating. Vassal limit. If you go over the limit by a significant amount, you lose a lot of vassal troops. However the laws make it that if you basically hold two large kingdoms, you need both on min crown law. but at three kingdoms? Can’t be done without going over. And since you need to be at 4 kingdoms to even proclaim king of Westeros.. Well, by the time you’ve the kingdoms you might be able to raise a single man of vassal levy.
Might be an idea to tack on a vassal limit law adjustifier other than the Realm Authority law.
Also, the High Lordship of Mandervale is for some reason uncreatable, even with all requisites ticked.

Hey guys just thought to tell you i love this mod. I comment to report a MAJOR bug in this version (if you ask me)
Wildling “flavours” dont work or just mess up everything, every spawning wildling ingame doesnt get the “wildling” trait anymore, leaving you with -75 personal interaction with everyone and making the game downright impossible.you can start the game with everyone as wildling, but new wildling will never get the trait.
how to run it at linux?
So i played twice now, and both times i got to a certain date and the game crashed every time i got to that date. This also happened in the last patch, you really need to get on that.
I really love your mod guys, hope there’ll be an update due to the “way of life”-dlc soon 🙂

You need to revert your CK2 installation back to 2.2.1 via Steam and play AGOT 0.9 for somewhat stable gameplay.
and how do you do that?
In Steam right click CK2 -> Properties -> Betas
trying to play as the dothraki but keep getting a no riders or followers event that ends my reign after a couple months and suggestions
Says Nights watch is unplayable cause ‘can’t play republics’ even with dlc all ticked and being able to play any republic in essos

It says Winter will end 9999? I certainly hope not, because the harsh winter in the north makes it a right pain to fight the white walkers!
Occasional crash after changing to the older version of CKII. Just save regularly as a precaution.

Crusader Kings 2 starts up just fine, but the mod doesn’t load at all . i see the map of europe come in instead of westerns and essos. Any thoughts on what’s wrong?
I’d say an error between the chair and the keyboard, make sure you follow the instructions 😉
I did. followed the file path as far as i can tell. re installed the mod. updated the .mod file in textedit. it reads that the mod is there in game but doesn’t load. everywhere i read on how to do this i did. i will redo it all again but to expect a different result is insanity.
an update to my previous reply. i can see there is a startup issue to the game with steam. i don’t know or see how i can start the game without needing steam. Could that be why it is not loading right away on startup?
There is a major issue with 9.2 or at least I am having one. I can’t click on providence or drag and select.
Update: That is no longer the issue. Nearly all flags are just black. Only exceptions are in Essos and the wildlings. Another strange one: any shield made in character creator goes back to default. Tried redownloadng and uninstall and reinstalling mod.
